SYNOPSIS:

Affiong, a young girl who lost her mother early in her life, was being mistreated by her stepmother and her two daughters. Her life took on an even more sinister turn when Mma Eduk, her stepmother, poisoned and killed Mr. Inyang, Affiong's father, and framed Affiong for the poisoning. She was castigated and deserted by the entire village. She won the heart of the crown Prince of the land due to her mesmerizing dance performance at the village square on the occasion of the bridal selection for the Prince. Affiong's marriage to the prince would conclude the story of a young girl's life of rags to riches, and the undeniable power of karma and destiny.
