SYNOPSIS:
Kwacha Is A Perilous Journey Of A Famous Actress And Gender Activist Inspired By A Real Life Event. A Young Ambitious Lady Kwacha Runs Away From Her Early Marriage With Mumba In The Village And Comes To The City To Stay The Sister Kasweka Who Is Married To A Tremendously Possessive Man Zulu Who Eventually Succumbed To His Inner Hideous Ways Of Being Insensitive And Abusive. Initially, Kasweka Interpreted Zulu’s Possessiveness As A Sign Of His Intense Love For Her Until His Possessiveness Progressed To Shattering Her Personal Independence. He Became Brutally Violent Against Her In A Society That Speaks Against Domestic Violence Passively. On The Other Hand Kwacha’s Big Dream Of Becoming A Pilot Gets Shattered And Her Life Becomes A Nightmare When Her Sister’s Husband Zulu Sexually Assaults Her And She Gets Thrown Out Of The House By Her Sister Kasweka After She Discovered That Her Husband Had Developed Sexual Interest In Kwacha. Kwacha Finds Her Solace And Her Voice Through A Charming Good Samaritan Church A Foreign Footballer Who Helps Her To Use Her Experience To Fight For The Sexual Abuse And Domestic Violence Victims. Church Introduces Kwacha To His Film Director Friend Ndola And Together They Make Sure That Justice Prevails After Her Only Sister Gets Brutally Murdered By Her Husband Zulu.
